The McKinley County Law Enforcement Facility is a 20,000 square foot single story facility. It accommodates offices and support areas for the Gallup police Department and the McKinley County Sheriff’s Department. The building layout consists of a main courtyard with open offices organized around its perimeter to provide natural daylight and views. The structural layout of the building allows the facility to have open ceilings with an acoustical deck, providing a comfortable and dynamic work environment yet providing privacy and security to other areas. Clerestory windows are laid out on the east and south sides of the building to maximize indirect daylight to open spaces and main corridors.
