The SunRay Park and Casino remodel included new finishes and mechanical upgrades at the existing casino. Work was completed during off hours to avoid disruptions with gaming operations. The new addition/expansion included approximately 17,000 sf of new casino, restaurant, and simulcast areas.
The casino expansion allowed for an additional 150 to 200 gaming machines. An ADA compliant elevator was also installed to allow for access from the restaurant/simulcast area to the grandstands as well as the Jockey Club at the third level. Additional simulcast offices were constructed at the second level.
